Meet Your Doctors

Dr. David Zeitlin

Dr. David Zeitlin is the founder and CEO of Arvada Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Arvada Family and Cosmetic Dentistry (AFC Dentistry, for short) helps busy families and professionals maintain their oral and overall health through comprehensive dental care. As your trusted Dentist in Arvada, Dr. Zeitlin serves over 1700 patients from the Arvada, Westminster, and Broomfield areas, as well as eleven surrounding states.

Dr. Zeitlin is an active member of the Colorado Prosthodontic Society and frequently attends continuing education classes to better serve the community. His memberships in the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, Academy of General Density, and the Denver Implant Study Club have given him extensive networks of other dental professionals and the ability to hone his clinical and diagnostic skills.

Binghamton University is where he first channeled his passion for creating and building with a studio art degree. He realized he could channel this energy into helping others by restoring them to a state of health, function, and cosmetic beauty. In 2006 he graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed a residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Pearl Lai

Dr. Lai is a Colorado native. She attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She then went on to practice general dentistry in the Denver-Metro area. During this time she discovered her passion for periodontics. She then moved to Minnesota and completed her periodontics residency at the Mayo Clinic. After completing her specialty training she returned home to Colorado to practice periodontics.

As a practicing periodontist, Dr. Lai enjoys her relationships with her patients and her colleagues as much as the care she provides. When she is not involved in dentistry she enjoys reading, mountain biking, snowboarding, and keeping a marine reef tank.

The best part of my career is the people. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their dentists. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by a wonderful dental team. Thank you!

Dr. Randy Simon

Dr. Randy Simon graduated from the University of Colorado Dental School in 1985. After several associateships, Dr. Simon started Advanced Dental Arts in 1993 and maintained a general practice specializing in cosmetic and comprehensive dental care. In January of 2023, Dr. Simon merged his practice with Dr. Zeitlin’s and now practices part-time.

Dr. Simon enjoys the professional relationships with Dr. Zeitlin and his fantastic staff and has no plans to retire in the foreseeable future. He lives in Tabernash, Colorado with his wife, and spend their free time skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing, and traveling.

I had a denture that had been provided by another doctor that needed repair. Doctor Zeitlin was thorough assessing the damage and very meticulous in explaining the details of what he recommended for the repair.. He presented me with a detailed quote for the necessary work. There was no pressure to rush into the project. After due consideration, I elected to follow his suggestions. The work was scheduled, executed and the repaired denture fitted in a timely fashion. In my opinion, the denture is better than when new. I am completely satisfied with this facility, Doctor Zeitlin and his caring, efficient staff.
