Latest News: Upcoming change regarding our participation with Cigna Insurance!

To Our Patient Family,

As AFC  Dentistry prepares to reopen for routine patient care we want to share with you how we are taking steps to keep our office, staff, and patients as safe as possible. Along with closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we will be taking additional precautions within the office to maintain a clean and safe environment.

We ask that you join our staff and Dr. Zeitlin in our efforts to maintain a safe experience:

  • In addition to our regular cleaning and sterilization procedures, we will be routinely and frequently cleaning counters, doorknobs, chairs, handrails, and other high-touch areas.
  • We are asking that if you have traveled outside of the United States within the last month and/or are feeling ill, please do not come into the office. We will gladly reschedule your appointment for a later date when you are feeling well. If you have been in contact with someone with a confirmed case of coronavirus, please be sure to have medical clearance prior to presenting to our office.
  •  When confirming your appointment we will ask screening questions as follows: Have you, or anyone you have been in close proximity with had any symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, nausea, flu-like symptoms of body aches, sore throat, or tested positive for COVID in the past 14 days?
  • We will be scheduling fewer patients in the office at the same time and asking all patients to please call from their vehicles in the parking lot before entering the office for their scheduled visit so that we can maintain social distancing and ensure minimal risk of transmission between patients.
  • When entering the office we will check everyone for fever with an infrared (no-touch) thermometer and will be given a face mask to wear before and after we start dental care.
  • Please wash your hands frequently and thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with warm water and soap.
  • Refrain from touching your face, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands and practice proper cough etiquette (i.e. catch your cough or sneeze in your armor with a tissue then wash hands).
  • Refrain from sharing things such as drinks, food, or utensils.

We appreciate your efforts and value your loyalty to our practice. Thank you for your understanding and your help in keeping the community a little safer. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office at 303-422-0836. Thank you.
