Latest News: Upcoming change regarding our participation with Cigna Insurance!

To Our Patient Family,

We wanted to reach out to you all and let you know that one week into the new Safer at Home guidelines your team at Arvada Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is working hard to be as available as possible while ensuring the safest possible environment to deliver dental care at our office.

We have implemented many measures above and beyond our usual infection control protocols. This will aid in maintaining social distancing between patients and ensure minimal risk of COVID-19 transmission between patients as well as to our team members and the community in general. Also, as I am sure many of your families are having to take on additional responsibilities with homeschooling of children whose education has been moved out of the schools, so too are most of our team members now in charge of the education of their children. Because of these new conditions that we as a society are handling there is limited availability for us to assist you with your dental needs.

Although many of the restrictions on dental care have been lifted as of May 9th, due to the limited availability of our team and the time requirements needed to safely treat our patients. We are going to be prioritizing patient care based on urgency and will be holding off on all routine hygiene visits until after June 8th. We have been fortunate in being able to procure all the needed PPE to safely treat patients according to the new guidelines. We also have a limited supply of masks for our patients who don’t bring a mask so that we can minimize transmission risk in the office before and after your dental treatment but ask for your help in extending our capacity to keep our patients safe by wearing your own mask into the office.

Please bear with us if we are unable to answer your calls during the hours of patient care which as of now are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We will do our best to check messages throughout the day and respond as quickly as possible to all of your calls. Also, Dr. Zeitlin will be hosting virtual dental consults for emergency concerns on Mondays and Fridays. See the link to schedule an Emergency Virtual Consult on our practice homepage. If you have a true emergency and have left a message on the office phone you can call Dr. Zeitlin directly on his cell phone at 516-712-4388 and he will respond as soon as he is able between patients or after hours.

For those of you who we have already helped through an urgent situation and are waiting for delivery of final crowns or other less urgent care, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding in working with us to help those patients in the most urgent situations get treatment as soon as possible. If you are not sure if your needs are urgent, or believe you have a concern that may become urgent if left untreated please call us to discuss scheduling an appointment so we can assess your condition and ensure appropriate and timely care is provided.

As our own team members’ childcare responsibilities return to normal and allow us to expand our schedule, or if restrictions on care due to COVID-19 change we will keep you updated on the COVID-19 update page on our website.

Thank you all for your support and understanding throughout this crisis!
