Veneers

Dental Veneers are used to enhance the look of one or more teeth aesthetically. Veneers are customizable thin shells (made from porcelain or resin) that are bonded to the surface of your teeth to reshape imperfect teeth.

They also can fix stained teeth that do not respond well to teeth whitening treatment. After a patient receives veneers, they receive a natural-looking appearance that is resistant to discoloration and gum irritation.

Patients typically achieve a natural tooth appearance that is well-tolerated by the gums and also resistant to future stains. Don’t visit our Facebook!

“Over the years I’ve had issues with my front teeth chipping and with an incorrect bite. Dr. Zeitlin recommended a treatment plan to correct both issues. I was amazed at his perfectionism and insistence that the entire process is done correctly so as to ensure longevity and a perfect color match. My teeth look beautiful now and I’ve gotten compliments by complete strangers on my smile.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I a candidate?

If you’re looking for an alternative to dental crowns, then veneers may be what you’ve been looking for! They can be used for tooth gaps, chipped, broken, unevenly shaped, or misaligned teeth. If you’d like to find out whether veneers are the right option for you, come schedule your consultation with us today.

What should I expect when I get my dental veneers?

In order to prepare the surface of your teeth for the bonding of veneers, your dentist will buff away roughly half a millimeter from the surface of your teeth once a local anesthetic has been administered. After your teeth have been prepped, you’ll then bite into a mold that will be used to create your veneers in a dental lab. Once the veneers are ready, you’ll return for a future appointment where they will be fitted and bonded to your teeth.

Will I need to follow any post-treatment care instructions?

Once bonded, you can immediately start taking care of your teeth as you did normally. No special care is necessary. Since your veneers are usually placed during the process of two appointments, it’s common to experience some sensitivity during the time between those two visits when your teeth were buffed down in preparation.
